Empower YOUTH are semi-annual courses that the Internacional Youth Watch in Brazil, hold to discuss relevant issues with young marginal leaders here in Brazil. The courses exist to foster youth engagement, international debate and to increase the commitment of the new generations to human rights. Usually seven discussion groups occur in parallel, entrepreneurship, counter-narrative and racism, gender and sexuality are examples. All these discussions are done taking into consideration experiences from other countries. The last edition counted on American diplomats, Nigerian activists and with young leaders of Hungary and Slovakia participating by videoconference. The next edition will be in March 2017 and the discussion will be around the new challenges of youth in a world in crisis. Once again the technology will connect young people around the world in this debate.
