On the 6th of July, Conectados al Sur presented its network, research and activities at the EdTech Winter School Uruguay. Together with our friends from Fundación Ceibal and an amazing audience of postgraduate students, early career academics and professionals, we discussed possibilities of mutual collaboration and introduced the next Symposium Conectados al Sur: Costa Rica 2018.
Ceibal Foundation organized the 1st EdTech Winter School in Uruguay: “Emerging trends and new horizons in the study of education and technology”, in partnership with ANII (Agencia Nacional de Investigación e Innovación), Departamento de Comunicación, Departamento de Educación (Universidad Católica del Uruguay), Universidad ORT, FLACSO Uruguay, Universidad de Montevideo and Facultad de Ingeniería (Universidad de la República). It offered a stimulating learning environment for participants to present and discuss key challenges, research trends and opportunities, to foresee new horizons in education, learning and teaching practices enhanced by digital technologies.
